About Me

My name is Karina Timov Ennis and I am one of the Interrelated Resource Teachers here at Stevens Creek! This is my 9th year teaching special education and I love every minute of my job!!

 

I am married with one child, who is in his 8th grade year at Stallings Island. Chance is in the National Beta Club/Honors, competes in the Geography Bee, attends Social, and is on the Augusta Arsenal Soccer Team. I also have a stepdaughter who is 28 and getting married this year! She is an artist of all kinds-- she works as a hairdresser/colorist, but also has had a career as a vocalist, and even auditioned on The Voice! My husband is a custom home builder and has built both residential and commercial for over 20 years. He has even built schools!

 

I am not a native Georgian, but have grown some roots here over the past decade & 1/2. I was born in upstate New York, then my family moved to Southern California where I spent a majority of my young life. I met my husband Jody on the West Coast, then moved to Atlanta, working many construction jobs around the Atlanta & South Georgia area. After several years of moving, we decided to make a permanent home in Augusta, where Jody's family calls 'home base'. I am blessed with the best extended family anyone could ask for! I also have a niece and 2 nephews in So Cal who have all grown up to be amazing adults! 

 

My classroom theme this year is "The Garden". When you walk down the hall, you will see a lot of green & flowers around my door. 

 

2024-25 School Year, I am excited to get to know all my students & help them blossom & grow!
